Design Camp 2021
Each year, our team holds an internship for QUT students wishing to enhance their business, engineering and software skills. through the development of our electric race car. It is a great opportunity for students across a range of degrees including Engineering, Business, IT and Software to get involved in Formula SAE and experience hands on design and business work.

JOB DESCRIPTION
QUT Motorsport is looking for motivated and passionate business students looking for opportunities to contribute to varying marketing, advertising, event management and finance tasks across the team.
About Us
QUT Motorsport operates as an extra-curricular student project, drawing on knowledge from undergraduate and postgraduate students of varying disciplines. For 2021, the team is planning to develop the third iteration of our 4WD electric vehicle. The Formula SAE competition dictates that students must design, manufacture, and engineer all aspects of the vehicle, necessitating the need for more students during the design and optimisation phase.
The Role
Beginning on the 18th of January and spanning 4 weeks, the role is aimed at students who are eager to work on a large scale project with multiple inter-disciplinary teams. Working hours will be 9am to 5pm from Monday to Friday. If you require some flexibility in working hours, please specify in your application.
Each role will require personnel with high attention to detail, organisational skills, and an understanding of the importance of team documentation. Ideal candidates will be completing either a Public Relations, Marketing, Finance, Management, Accounting or Advertising major in a business degree at QUT.
In the role you can expect to get hands-on experience working in a multi-disciplinary project. You will be liaising with companies, drawing from sponsorship opportunities, organising the project budget, advertising the team to external stakeholders and managing events. There will be a heavy emphasis on administration records and documentation.
